Thanksgiving Dinner Excel Spreadsheet
This activity allows students to create an electronic spreadsheet, using any software such as Microsoft Excel, to calculate calories, fat grams, and carb grams (using realistic data) in a typical Thanksgiving dinner. The students create formulas, format numbers, adjust column widths, and use many other spreadsheet functions in a seasonally appropriate assignment. A fun and educational way to spend those last couple of days before Thanksgiving break!

Teaching style
The lessons I post on Teachers Pay Teachers will be intended for other busy teachers. I have been in many teaching situations where there is little available curriculum and have had to develop my own resources and have enjoyed doing so. I am willing to share. These lessons are designed for a teacher to print the lesson, run copies for the class, and have the students learn or reinforce ideas without the teacher having to do all of the planning and prep. Take a break on me...you deserve it!
My own education history
I earned an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration; a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree and majored in Business Management; and a Master of Education with a major in Classroom Teaching.
