These fluency games are based on the "Computations and Connections" section from Every Day Calendar Math. Each month has at least three games that align themselves as such. April and May have been left open as review months. The games can be used as fluency intervention, math RTI, centers, workstations, etc.
Copy the instruction cards on cardstock and laminate for durability, then put everything students will need into bags for the year and your games are done!
Here's everything you get:

This booklet is aligned to Everyday Counts Calendar Math; each month grows on the next in the expectation, and students gain success through repetition and continuous review.
Print this booklet by month and allow students to practice during morning work, as a rotation during math workstations, or during calendar time!
This booklet contains 131 pages!!!
This booklet contains 141 pages for you and your students to use during Calendar Math time!
The pages are set up for the "number of the day" which we interpret as the number of days in school. Each month follows consistently with students performing the same tasks in order for them to feel successful and gain place value and life-calendar-math skills.
Each month has a page for students to re-create the calendar. Adding the month name, day names, and dates. After the first few days of the mon

This packet has 30 whole lessons of spelling tests! These are aligned to Journeys 2nd grade, but could be adapted and used with any spelling curriculum.
Each test is two pages, 16 questions.
Each question is designed for the student to fill in the answer using the context and chose the correct spelling of the word from the four choices.
These tests could also be used as review, practice or center work.
There is also now an answer key for each section!
This booklet is an ABC format over-view of the Native Americans that lived in Missouri. I made the covers so you could copy it as a "big book" or as small books. The pages can be cut in half easily, or kept large, whatever you'd like!
At the end of the book there are three activities to do: Alpha boxes, what would you see at a powwow, and what did Native Americans make with their hands.
My students love doing this activity and learning about Native American history!
2nd - 4th
Informational Text, Native Americans, U.S. History
Students practice writing numbers in expanded form and standard form and then comparing numbers by paying this game. All materials needed are this paper, and three dice (or one rolled three times) for each pair. I like to give them three different colored dice or dice with dots and some with numbers to differ their recognition of numbers.
Help students gain a foundation of multiplication and division facts as they explore the multiple representations for their "2's, 5's and 10's" facts.
Each card is shown as "___groups of ___" as well as the equation and also in a pictorial representation.
Students can take these cards home and write the answers on the back and use them to study or for homework.
These cards can also be used in a Math Center.
When we learn our money unit, I take a lot of time to explain our money, who is on it, why they deserve to be on a coin or bill. We talk historical significance, value of coins and bills, and geography for any places on the coins!
These templates can be used as a culminating event of a money unit, or as a send-home activity.
It is so fun to see what they come up with!
These are money word problems to provide a quick practice or review for your students. I created them to add to our calendar time, as I saw a need for our students to practice this skill.
Copy them on card stock, cut in half, hole punch in the corner and put on a ring so you can flip one per day to practice!
There should be enough to have one word problem per day for the month! (30 word problems)
*You could also print these out for a center or work station or have them glued into journals
TONS of activities to send home for your students to practice their math fluency! These activities are friendly for families because minimal materials are necessary. Most games/activities don't need any supplies, and when they are needed they are cards or dice.
Hopefully this can be a helpful tool to you and your students with math homework and helping to gain confidence in their math skills!
Use this sort to help introduce multiplication to students. This shows multiplication in several ways, showing students a pictorial representation, the equation, answer, and "__ groups of __"
This sort can be used with a small group or as a center.
There are also two recording pages included.

Second Grade Journeys Vocabulary words for Unit One
Made for students to draw a picture for each word and write a sentence. They can then be cut apart and used for vocabulary games (concentration, word sorts, abc order, etc). Teaching style
Our second grade team is currently departmentalized and I LOVE it! I am teaching all of the second grade math to 106 second grade kiddos! I enjoy incorporating technology, hands-on games and activities, all while trying to stay with-in the parameters of the district curriculum pacing and assessment schedule.
My own education history
I graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a Bachelor's of Science in Education and am currently working to obtain a master's degree in Elementary and Middle School Administration.
Additional biographical information
Along with teaching second grade, I am also the assistant high school softball coach, the webmaster at my school, I do after school tutoring two days a week, and am very involved in my church including being the head of the board of education.
