Hey there! I'm Alissa, a dedicated middle school special education and math teacher with a passion for making learning engaging and fun. Since 2013, I've had the joy of teaching grades 6-8, and along the way, I've discovered the magic of supporting and engaging students in the classroom.
But my journey doesn't stop there! As an adjunct professor at a local university, I also get to share my love for education with pre-service teachers aiming for their master's degrees. It's incredibly rewarding to help shape the next generation of educators.

Teaching style
My teaching style is student-centered. I love to find and create resources to engage learners especially those who struggle. I emphasize the importance of building relationships with my students as well as my co-teachers!

-Graduated with my undergraduate degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology.
