Ultra Fun Reading Strategies Bingo
This is an activity that teachers can use to teach, review and encourage students to use reading strategies. The set includes posters that explain the strategies giving examples. It includes a bingo board that can be used in literacy centers to encourage children to use common reading strategies in a fun, engaging way. It can also be used to instruct parents and volunteers on strategies to use with intermediate readers. The reading strategies covered are: Use Decoding/Phonics,Look at Word B

Teaching style
I'm pretty eclectic. I feel it's important to find an approach that meets the needs of your students. There is a lot of music, drama and art in my classroom as well as laughter and teamwork. I think it is important to remind your students of their importance, worth and abilities. I also believe that collaboration is vital to teachers.
Awards & shining teacher moments
The "nicest" "meanest" teacher in the school. (The student explained that I was kind and the most fun but I didn't let kids get away with being naughty ever.) I kind of like that.

I am married to a sweet, gorgeous man. I have two wonderful daughters and two adorable pooches named Beau and Ralphie. I love art, especially visual and performance art. I started my own micro-school in 2020 and love it!
