About the store
History should never be boring! I’m a middle school teacher who turns lessons into experiences — with simulations, creative projects, and ready-to-teach resources that bring the past to life. My goal: make history fun for students and effortless for teachers. I’ve been teaching since 2012, beginning in special education before moving into 7th and 8th grade history and civics. Over the years, I’ve designed lessons that reach every kind of learner and keep students genuinely engaged. What drives me is helping students actually enjoy history—seeing them light up when they connect ancient ideas to modern life. My classroom thrives on simulations, creative projects, and hands-on lessons that turn history into something students can experience, not just read about. Through Historically Engaged, I create classroom-tested, ready-to-use resources that save teachers time while keeping students curious and motivated. Each lesson is built to spark engagement, simplify prep, and remind both teachers and students why history is worth loving.

Teaching style

My classroom blends structure with creativity. I expose students to different teaching and learning styles to help them adapt and succeed beyond middle school. I build strong connections with my students, making lessons engaging and fun—but always with purpose and real learning behind the excitement.

My own education history

I earned my bachelor’s degree in History and my master’s in Special Education. That mix of content knowledge and teaching experience helps me create lessons that are both meaningful and adaptable. Everything I design is built to support real classrooms and real students.
