About the store

Experience

I have been a teacher for 25 years. My experience includes second, fourth, and fifth grades. I am currently the Work-Based Learning Coordinator for Floyd County Schools College and Career Academy.

Teaching style

I believe students learn best from hands-on learning opportunities. I also believe that constant review of previously learned skills helps students to learn long term as opposed to memorizing facts.

My own education history

I graduated with honors from Shorter College in Rome, GA. I received my master's degree from Piedmont College.
