This project-based learning activity allows students to work in pairs, small groups, or individually while addressing 4 real-world environmental issues related to the Gulf of Mexico.  Students will put on their "Marine Biologist" hats to work to research and present their findings. This project was designed for Florida students in grades 4-12; however, it can be easily adapted to address local ecological issues in any coastal community, especially along the Gulf Coast.  Students can be assigned
