MONTESSORI BASED Spider Counting 1 - 10 odd & even numbers lesson (Print out)
A great counting lesson for spooky season! We love to study spiders during Halloween, this printable Montessori based lesson adds some extra fun to our math work during the month of October (but can be utilized alongside spider studies during any time of the year!) The concept for this lesson is based off of the Montessori Cards and Counters lessons, which helps children to gain a concrete understanding of even and odd numbers. Simple counting cards one through ten in SPANISH. Spiders for the Halloween season! Or to pull our any time you are studying spiders. This is loosely based off of the Montessori Lesson Cards and Counters in which the concept of Even & Odd numbers are introduced by showing that an odd number doesn't not have a partner in its last line while an even number does. While there are spiders provided for you to cut (and laminate if you choose) we love to use these plastic spiders while counting! http

Teaching style
I love to apply Montessori techniques to create beautiful, simple lessons and activities that can be used in multiple ways and across different age groups. The materials found here can be used in both a classroom and/or homeschool setting. I aim to find a balance between beauty and simplicity (to avoid distraction in the children and to save you money and time on ink and prep).
My own education history
Attended Montessori from preschool through middle school. Worked as a summer camp counselor and lifeguard at a Montessori school through high school and college. Completed my Montessori Teacher Training after college and started working in my first Primary classroom. Along the way, I met some wonderful homeschool families and used the skills and knowledge I have attained to help create materials, unit studies, and curriculums for them as well as teaching their children in person.
