About the store
I have taught first, fourth, sixth grade students when I was in the classroom, and I always engaged students with the purposeful use of digital tools for learning. Recently, I moved into a coaching/training position as a Technology Integration Specialist. From my experience, I have developed a passion for constructing learning objects and designing instruction, while integrating Information and Communication Technologies. As a teacher and trainer, I facilitate an engaging learning environment that promotes professional growth, while striving to integrate current technologies with research-based instructional practices.

Alternative Assessment
The Alternative Assessment document is intended to offer students choice in regards to how they want to demonstrate what they have learned. I started using this Alternative Assessment form with students that performed poorly on traditional tests. These directions offer learners the option to apply what they have learned regurgitating information for a test.

2012 Election SMART Board
This SMART board file was created to allow students to research, decide on a candidate, and vote using the SMART Board. Then, to visualize and discuss the results, a pictograph is used to chart the results of the student vote.
