My team and I decided that parents were not aware of the "new kindergarten." (full day, no naps, reading, etc.) We compiled a list of items that we feel would help students to know before entering kindergarten. Enjoy!
Sight Word Crunch is a fun whole class game where students compete to see who can identify the sight word the quickest. Separate the class into two teams and one player from each team goes at a time. The first student to get the sight word correct wins a point.
This product includes a sight word checklists. The checklists have words from F&P levels A-E and other words that I teach throughout the year. I also check if students can write the words as well.
This is an interactive game for the entire class to enjoy! Split your class into two teams. One person from each team will go at a time. The student to guess the letter correctly gets a point for their team.
There are four versions of the game included:
1. all lowercase letters
2. all uppercase letters
3. upper and lowercase letters- slides are the same
4. upper and lowercase mixed up
At the beginning of each year I have a parent orientation. At orientation we go over every detail of our classroom. This presentation has 40 slides and is COMPLETELY EDITABLE.
This file contains three sets of BINGO Cards.
1. all lowercase letters (24 different BINGO cards)
2. all uppercase letters (24 different BINGO cards)
3. Mixed upper and lowercase letters (24 different BINGO cards)
Print the caller cards at the beginning of the slide and then print the BINGO cards in either color or B/W. Laminate cards for more durability.
This product was created using PowerPoint. It is saved as a PowerPoint show. When you open it will automatically open into a slideshow. The sight words included are for Levels A-E of F&P.
