About the store
I have been teaching since I was 21 years old and this is my 16th year. All 16 have been at the same college prep middle school where I have served as the ELA Department Chair and now our school's Gifted Lead Teacher. I am grateful for my many mentors and colleagues who have allowed me to be tired, but inspired and given me the grace to be creative.

Teaching style
One of the few things in life we can't get back happens to be time so I HATE wasting it!
I make the most of every moment in class and sometimes that means having quiet time to think and work.
Being efficient does NOT mean we move at break-neck speed or have class in a whirlwind. It means we are judicious and use discernment with what we teach and the practice we do.
Just "doing something to do something" is a WASTE.
