Are your students losing their index cards for their informative or opinion writing? Why not add sources and text evidence all to the same sheet? This is an 11 x 17 paper, so make sure you put that in the copier first before printing. Once notes are added, it's easier to craft sentences and remember to cite your references when all the information is in one place.
A perfect template for intermediate students to write a narrative, informative, or even opinion piece. Each booklet uses four sheets with both sides copied. Keep it in the order that it is copied and the page numbers will come out perfectly. If you have a long-arm stapler, add two staples in the middle of each packet and then fold in half. There is a cover, pictures boxes, and an "About the Author" on the back cover.
