Howe's Math Practice

This is a jeopardy review game to help practice skills in probability, area, circumference, volume and statistical data. Questions are about probability of independent events, area and circumference of circles, surface area of prisms and pyramids from nets, volume of pyramids and prisms, and lastly applying statistical data (bar, box and whisker, circle graphs). Great for final exam or midterm review, or just fun to play any time.

This is a jeopardy game that reviews the following concepts: proportions and similarity, solving equations and inequalities, writing equations and inequalities, real number operations and multiple representations (graphs, tables and equations). There are a total of 25 questions, 5 per category.

This product contains a set of 4 games/activities for students to experience the difference between theoretical and experimental probability. Students will be given a game scenario to read. They will have to find the theoretical probability of winning the game and then actually complete the game and find their experimental probability. Lastly they will be asked to use their experimental probability to make a prediction. Great way to reinforce their probability skills.

This product is a PowerPoint presentation for students to practice their ability to find a discount amount, discount price, tax amount and sale price. All are set up using proportions. Answers are in the PowerPoint slides. I have students work on a whiteboard and check as we go.
