I love to make body systems real for my students by having them play doctor and researcher. I select several appropriate issues and illnesses for every body system, and randomly assign (usually, by spinning a digital wheel) the issue/illness/injury. Students work in small groups to research the assigned condition. They must create a patient that makes sense for the condition, generate a patient history that makes sense for the condition, come up with treatment options, and generally, create a w
