This is a great way to start your class. I've used this system for many years and it's an effective way to ground the students. This version also has SENTENCE FRAMES for every question, for students who struggle to get started. Five minute video timers included. Also, some sample slides for what I do after, which I call "coffee talk" and ask students to share with a partner what they wrote. Get the ppt bundle to see how I structure the writing.
