These file folder game boards can be used as an engaging way to reinforce skills taught in the classroom or at home. Just print out the two-page game board and glue it inside a file folder. Laminate it for long lasting memories. All you have to do is get out some dice, game pieces, and use your own flash cards such as letter recognition, sight words, math concepts, trivia, etc. You can even make up your own rules for the games. The choice is yours, so be creative!

My own education history

I studied elementary education at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. Go Wildcats! Since graduating in the month of December, there were not many desirable positions I wanted, so I decided to become a substitute teacher and play the field a little. I fell in love with the preschool special education classroom I once subbed in and decided to apply. After I got the job, I went back to school to get my Master's in Special Education from Northern Arizona University. Go Lumberjacks! After teacher preschool special education for 9 years, I met my husband and moved to Tempe, AZ where I got a job as a Resource teacher, teaching special education to children in grades K-5. I was in that position for 2 years until I got pregnant and became a full time stay at home mom.

Additional biographical information

I am currently a stay at home mom to a smart and sassy little girl named, Chloe and sweet and adorable little boy named, Caleb. Although I love my mommy role, I have always missed being in the classroom and helping those students who truly struggle with learning. Creating products for other teachers has been a great way for me to keep in touch with my academic and creative side.
