I studied elementary education at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. Go Wildcats! Since graduating in the month of December, there were not many desirable positions I wanted, so I decided to become a substitute teacher and play the field a little. I fell in love with the preschool special education classroom I once subbed in and decided to apply. After I got the job, I went back to school to get my Master's in Special Education from Northern Arizona University. Go Lumberjacks!
After teacher preschool special education for 9 years, I met my husband and moved to Tempe, AZ where I got a job as a Resource teacher, teaching special education to children in grades K-5. I was in that position for 2 years until I got pregnant and became a full time stay at home mom.
