A unit for descriptive writing. Included is a bubble map, flee map, and sentence frames. I started off with reading "I Need My Monster," by Amanda Noll. After listening to the story we discussed the different monsters and descriptions in the story. My students then wrote about their own monsters.

This bubble map goes along with a unit on descriptive writing. Students use this bubble to map to describe a monster.
