I am a STEAM Educational Coach and Consultant. I help Elementary Teachers and Administrators create classrooms that grow STEM or STEAM as a community culture to foster students who will become creative and critical thinkers engaged in Project-Based Learning. Project-based learning allows for deeper insight and understanding across ALL the core subjects.
I believe that now, more than ever, our students must develop their creativity, critical thinking, collaboration with peers, and communication skills beyond their comfort zones.

Teaching style
I am passionate about evolving my classroom to create independent problem solvers and thinkers through project-based learning. I like to keep my students curious and foster their natural ability to ask questions. Questions often interrupt our day.... but we have to create a system that allows for them to be comfortable to keep QUESTIONING what they observe in the WORLD!!

Do you iHeartSTEAM, too? I am Bonnie Kirkley, the creator of iHeartSTEAM.com. I have been teaching elementary education for the past 18 years. I thoroughly enjoy making every day a special day at school. I love a challenge and embrace change. I want all my students to adapt to the "why not" philosophy. We walk the planet daily, following the rules and making choices because others do the same. Why can't we be different? Why can't we do it in a new way? Well..... why not? I am working fiercely to step into a new teaching element in the 21st century. I am just breaking through boundaries and getting my feet wet. My mission is to make the mundane marvelous! While practicing what I preach, I moved the Teacher Party, my original store name, into a new direction, becoming iheartSTEAM on TpT. Learning should always be fun!! I work with many teachers taking my online course and membership in the STEAMed Up Teacher Club.
