This is an excellent way for parents to monitor their child’s behavior in the classroom. I recommend copying the pages onto cardstock, hole punching them, and putting them into the students’ take-home folders. When it comes time to mark behavior grades on their report cards, you have a record of how each child has done. You can develop a scoring guide depending on how your district records behavior grades.

This PowerPoint presentation is an outline for a Meeting the teacher during the first weeks of school. It helps to make sure the teacher covers all of the important things parents will need to know for the year, such as standardized testing dates, behavior plans, homework policies, and grading policies.

This pack combines STAAR motivation items, scratch offs and sticker chart, labels with "Stick to it! You can do it!," and name labels for treat bags. All of the files are customizable using Word or Publisher. You may like to print the small motivational cards and attach a sticker to each one then give them to the students or slip them into a goody bag with pencils and erasers. Sock Monkey themed labels for journals or folders. Includes Reading, Writing, Science, Social Studies, Word Study, and Monkey Folder. The monkey folder is something I use for unfinished work in my class. I tell students if they have something in their monkey folder, then there's no monkeying around until it's all done. Word Study labels are used for their spelling journals. Print these labels on 2" x 4" labels (ten per page). Write the student's name at the bottom of the label.

This is a Publisher file and is editable. Edit your rewards or print them as they are. Paint over the rewards and give them to students as an incentive.

Print and tape onto hand sanitizer bottle using clear packing tape. I have the student who is leaving the room for the bathroom put the appropriate bottle (boy or girl) on his/her desk. While he or she is out, I can see who is in the bathroom. Upon his or her return, he/she uses the hand sanitizer and returns it to it's place in the room.

These Christmas gift tags feature a tree and sock monkey. Print on 2" x 4" labels or heavy weight paper to use as gift tags.

Sticker reward chart for use during STAAR prep. I use it by giving them a sticker for a correct answer on an assignment. For example, if I want to reward correct answers for problem number 3, then I put a sticker on their chart if they have the correct answer. When they have filled a row, I give them an additional reward.

Keep track of how your students get home each day with this editable Word document. Included modes of transportation are car riders, walker/bike riders, day care, and bus riders, but they can be easily changed. Customize with your own cute fonts or download the PDF version and write in the names.
