About the store

I have four years of experience teaching Language Arts. But in those four years, I have taught 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th-grade levels! Although high school is where my heart is, I am having a blast teaching 7th grade and have come up with many versatile resources to streamline the way of work in my classroom. I am also the Grade Level Chair for the 7th-grade team at my school.

Experience

Teaching style

I love Small Groups and Small Classes. Although this is not always possible I love to come up with possibilities that will allow a large class to feel small and intimate. I like my students to feel comfortable taking risks, so we dim lights, play fun music in the background and let the learning begin. My classroom uses technology for a variety of purposes--from class behavior management to assessment turn in. I am truly a 21st-century teacher.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Illinois at Springfield.
