This eight page unit is create with fun in mind! The first page is an informational page about the legend of Groundhog's Day. The second page is a "make a word" activity. The third page is an activity titled "Whose Shadow is This?" It is a hit with the students. Also included are an original poem, a mad lib type story that once all of your students have completed this activity, can be placed in your reading center, multiplication page, tongue twisters for your fluency center, and a page of book

This assignment tracker helps you keep track of which students did and did not complete their assignments. It is also a good way of notifying parents and the administration when students are slack in completing work.
