Teaching style
I love hands-on activities that give my students opportunities to experience, touch, feel, see, and create. I explicitly teach, model and show, guide them in their application of skills through guided and group practice, and monitor their individual practice through independent work.
I teach to learn and learn to teach based on data and my student's needs.
Even now, as an Instructional Specialist, my teaching style will always be flexible to address my student's learning styles.

Graduated with a Degree in Bachelors of Arts major in English
and Bachelor of Arts in Education. In the process of completing my graduate degree for Masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction with emphasis in Rural Teacher Leadership.

Learning and teaching are my passion.
My 18 years of teaching has enhanced my teaching, curriculum, and assessment skills, and has also improved my knowledge in creating data driven lessons to address the specific needs of my students.
I have worked with different campuses that have supported me through opportunities for development and professional growth, which made me who I am, as a teacher and an administrator.
