We have taught 7th-8th Grade Math, Math intervention, 6th-7th English Language Arts, and English as a Second Language (ELL) for kindergarten through adult learners. Scientific Notation Activity - Cootie Catcher
Studens will practice converting to and from scientific notation using a game built around two cootie catchers. Students will go head to head in a duel and get practice in converting scientific notation. This also combines a bit of fun competition to help engage students in the practice.

My own education history
Between the two of us we have three masters degrees and two bachelor degrees. We have a B.A. in Teaching History, a B.A. in Linguistics, minors in English, Physical Education, and Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL). We also each have a M.Ed in Bilingual and Multicultural Education and one M.Ed in Educational Leadership- Principalship.
