With nearly two decades of experience in elementary education and gifted education, I am a seasoned educator deeply committed to meeting the unique needs of gifted and high-achieving students. My passion for fostering the intellectual growth and development of these learners has been a driving force throughout my career. Being honored with the Exemplar Educator Recognition Award not just once, but twice, stands as a testament to my unwavering commitment to excellence in the field. Additionally, being selected as a district finalist for this prestigious award further validates my passion for nurturing gifted students. Among my most cherished highlights are the opportunities to present at our state Gifted and Talented conference, giftED, where I have shared insights and best practices with educators from across the state. Collaborating with teachers on a statewide level has not only enriched my own teaching practices but has also allowed me to contribute meaningfully to the broader educational community.
