This Power Point will introduce the students to the book "A Night Divided", and its author, Jennifer Nielson. Included in the Power Point is a brief description of What Led to the Berlin Wall, Historical Facts about the Berlin Wall, About the Author, Information about the book and three Pre-reading discussion questions. The slides are timed with animations to ensure smooth transition from one detail to the next without having to stop instruction and click for the next detail.

Included in this Power Point are examples of sequence of event s and a story with practice questions you can do as a class. At the end there is an assignment included. For the assignment I used Aseop's Fables. The assignment is for students to read through the stories on your table and copy the events. Then place the events in the correct sequence by using the correct numbers.

Complete Subject and Complete Predict The 2 main parts of a sentence are the subject and the predicate. The part that names what is talked about is the complete subject. The part that tells what is said about the subject is the complete predicate. Draw a line separating the complete subject from the complete predicate.
