This is a fun and engaging activity which challenges students to apply their knowledge of several mathematical concepts, including addition, multiplication, estimation, and comparison. This activity can be used for additional practice, formative assessment, or just as a fun activity around the holidays, and may be assigned for one period or multiple periods, depending on the level of the students.

Teaching style
My style of teaching revolves around student centered learning. I believe that handing students the keys will drive discovery, interest, and deeper understanding. I believe that application of ideas is essential for traveling beyond memorization, and truly learning specific concepts and fostering critical and creative thinking.
My own education history
I possess a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry.
