About the store
My store has a range of resources in Speech and Language, SEND and Computing. It includes an Advanced form of 'Colourful Semantics' which I called 'Colourful Speech' which I developed to be used with one-to-one, small groups and whole class teaching it spans across the curriculum. It helps children to understand grammar and word groups as they progress through their learning journey. Creating tailor made resources to help children with specific needs become inspired and progress is very rewarding and I hope you enjoy using these resources.
I am now retired but can draw on my experience working in a primary school both as a classroom T.A , School ICT Technician and having delivered the computing Curriculum to years1-6 for 7 years.
In 2005 I achieved joint first in the Becta ICT practice awards and have been privileged to watch Technology progress over the years.

In Computing I think it is important to encourage the children to look for familiar aspects and then explore the unfamiliar. It is our responsibility to provide them with the knowledge and understanding to keep themselves safe. However, Technology should be fun and exciting and we need to help them discover whet resources we have as well as what may be possible in the future.
It is an area where they can share their Technology with peers and explain how they use it.
