About the store
I currently am a 3rd Grade Accelerated Teacher in New York. This means I teach a group of 30 or more 3rd graders who are currently above the bench marks for 3rd grade in New York State. Previously, I have taught 4th, 2nd, and Kindergarten. I have a Master's in Childhood and Special Education. I am currently working on receiving a Master's in Administration.

Reading Story Elements - Pot O' Gold
I use this resource after during a St. Patrick's Day or seasonal read aloud. Each student gets assigned one pot o' gold. They are responsible to identify the story element they are assigned. I.e. Characters, Setting, Problem, Solution, Theme, and Main Idea. I usually photo copy this resource on green paper and hang from a line in my classroom.

I use this paper to help my students create flash drafts of their Informational Reports. I have made a pink rectangle on every other line, which helps my students remember to skip lines while they are drafting. Later they will utilize the skipped lines when they are revising and editing their reports.
