Experience

I have been teaching for 6 years. I currently teach middle and high school level American Sign Language. I also teach independent living skills to adults with intellectual disabilities.

Teaching style

My style is very flexible and individualized to specific student needs. I tend to tweak activities as I go through lessons to gear them toward student strengths and/or to target areas of improvement.

My own education history

I have my Bachelor's in English and American Sign Language and Deaf Studies from California State University, Long Beach. I also have my ASL Interpreting Certification from Golden West College.
