Experience

My name is Jes Siebert. I have been teaching high school math since 2007; subjects including Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Financial Algebra, Analytical Algebra 2, and Algebra 2 with Trigonometry.

Teaching style

I focus on conceptual understanding of topics by encouraging students to use what they know to figure out what they don't yet know. Procedural understanding should come from conceptual understanding, allowing students to develop procedures that are accurate and are easier for them.
