Differentiated options for practicing place value. This battleship game is a lot of fun and the kids will enjoy practicing expanded form, standard form and base ten block representation of numbers. This set comes in 2 digit and 3 digit options. There is a top sheet and a bottom sheet that should be laminated to a file folder for each player. You can even mix and match the differentiated options. This can also be used at number identification for younger students.
This base ten blocks lego mat is a lot of fun and will get your students interested in place value. Use the blank colored cards for the back of the cards if you want.
I laminate them to make them last longer.
Sort the cards by color. (You may want to print more than one set in order to get more cards.)
Place all the same colored cards in a deck and place in a ziplock bag or other card container.
These are great for students to learn to count on, and visualize numbers. This is so important for good place value understanding.
My students play many math games with these.
