0.5 year -Special Education (K-6) 2 years - Kindergarten 2 years - 4/5 split classroom 5 years - Adult Education (child development, behavior management, trauma-informed classroom & approaches) 6 years - K-3 Special Education teacher

I definitely have a laid-back, hybrid style of teaching. I have to be flexible because of teaching children with learning difficulties across four different grade levels. I always incorporate multi-sensory strategies and opportunities for my students to move and engage in the lessons and learning.

I graduated from Saint Mary of the Woods College in December 2009 with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (K-6), Special Education (K-12) and a Spanish minor. In 2019, I earned my Master's Degree from Ball State University in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Focus.

I live in a small town in rural Indiana. I live with my husband, our three children, five cats, and dog in a log home in the country.
