About the store

Experience

I have been a teacher since high school. In and outside of a classroom. Since I was 15 years old, I have shared my knowledge and love of mathematics with people of all ages. I have tutored Math at the institutions of learning that I attended: Spelman College and Georgia Institute of Technology. I have run my own classrooms and have used creative methods to engage my students, no matter what age they are.

Teaching style

I believe in organized class notes that are easy for students to read, followed by interactive activities to keep them engaged and practicing their new skills! I love creating activities and sharing them with other educators. I believe that there is NO such thing as boring math, and that creativity and mathematics go hand in hand!

My own education history

I attended Spelman College and Georgia Institute of Technology, where I received my Bachelor of Science in both Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering.
