I have eleven years of experience teaching Math to Middle School students in North Carolina, most of which was in seventh grade. I worked with an amazing co-teacher with a high level of collaboration throughout six of those eleven years. Together, we were able to learn and grow into our niches, overcoming personal and professional challenges. Over the years, together and alone, I've created a full curriculum that has led me to a consistent performance at the top of my district and state. This has brought in accolades and promotions leading workshops, creating documents, pacing guides, a blueprint course, lesson plans, and other resources for others across the district. This Formative Assessment Tracker can be used throughout instruction, stations, activities, and more. Each student is assigned a number and understanding is marked off during formative observations.
