About the store

Experience

InkSanity EDU was created by an educator with over 18 years of classroom experience. I started as a 4th grade teacher and quickly realized how time-consuming it was to plan meaningful writing every single day. Now, I create structured, engaging, no-prep writing routines that help teachers build strong writers, without adding more to their workload.

Teaching style

High expectations, real engagement, and a little humor. I believe every student can grow as a writer when they feel supported and challenged. My approach is student-centered and practical, and focused on building confidence, independence, and consistency through daily writing. Everything I create is designed to be simple to use, easy to implement, and effective across a range of learners.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Over the years, I’ve worked with students across grade levels and supported teachers in building stronger writing instruction in their classrooms. The most meaningful part of my work is seeing students grow in confidence, and especially those who once struggled to get started writing!

My own education history

I hold a PhD in Education from Claremont Graduate University and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. I’ve spent nearly two decades teaching, designing curriculum, and supporting educators. My work focuses on creating resources that are both academically rigorous and easy to use. I hope teachers can spend less time planning and more time teaching using my resources.

Additional biographical information

I created InkSanity EDU to solve a real classroom problem: how to get students writing consistently without overwhelming teachers. If you’re looking for simple routines, engaging prompts, and low prep resources you can actually use every day, you’re in the right place! Thanks for checking out my store.
