About the store

Experience

I have been teaching multiple subjects in the upper elementary and middle grades for 13 years in Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina. As a previous elementary and middle school Science teacher, I have taught multiple grade levels and disciplines including STEM Science, ELA, and Reading. I also teach professional development classes on classroom management and will soon be an instructor for Reading Literacy in Science for the state of Tennessee.

Teaching style

I personally believe that productive struggle is the key to learning. The majority of the time, my students are doing and discussing content not writing and memorizing. When students are challenged daily to complete the task at hand, they tend to retain a lot more of the information.
