I've been in education for 15 years, initially as a sign language interpreter, and since, a teacher with experience developing inquiry-based and project-based units for grades 3-8. I am experienced in designing traditional, nature-based, and virtual classrooms, creating real-world simulations, budgeting projects, and cross-curricular learning experiences that support academic standards and skill development.

Teaching style

I create inquiry-based, project-based, and real-world learning experiences. Most of my resources are designed specifically for middle school students (grades 6-8). My resources focus on critical thinking, problem-solving, and application of academic skills through engaging projects and investigations. Each resource is classroom tested and designed to be teacher-friendly, with clear directions, student-ready materials, scaffolds, and rubrics that support diverse learners without adding extra prep.

Additional biographical information

I am a middle school educator with experience designing inquiry-driven instruction across science, social studies, and cross-curricular learning. I am passionate about helping students connect classroom learning to real-world contexts and meaningful problems. Inquiry Lab Studio was created to support teachers looking for engaging, standards-aligned resources that promote deeper thinking and student ownership.
