I complete developmental assessment for children from birth to age five to determine eligibility for Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education. I began licensed teaching in Special Education for children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade in 2015. I transitioned to Early Childhood Special Education in 2018 and have been there since. Experience

Teaching style

My teaching style is very student focused. Students have different learning styles and process information in different ways: by seeing and hearing, reflecting and acting, reasoning logically and intuitively, analyzing and visualizing. Because of the variety of needs that special education presents, I diversify my approach to meet student learning needs. I use varied approaches to individualize instruction depending on the needs of my students.
