14+ years in education teaching both 1st grade (7 years) and 4th grade (4 years) in both Colorado and Texas. Most recently, I served as the PK-12 instructional coach and academic coordinator for a district in East Texas. Currently, I support new teachers and educators with my local educational service center and as an adjunct professor with the University of Texas at Tyler. On the side, I work as an independent contractor--having the privilege to be a part of the state instructional materials review process, helping to ensure that students are provided high-quality, standards-aligned content--something I strive to do in all of my own products!

Experience

Teaching style

My passion is creating fun and engaging ways to teach EVERY child. I have worked with at-risk students in title I schools my entire career, and over the years I have been able to use my creativity to develop activities and strategies that can support all students' learning styles and achievement levels.
