You can use these cards in a variety of ways! Here are the two I have used in my classroom:
-Give each student a card. Have them line in up in order from least to greatest! I let them decide how and where in the classroom to line up. I also let them carry with them a mini-whiteboard and marker so that if they need to, they can estimate square roots to figure out where they belong in line. Students may help each other, but no calculators are allowed! I give them motivation to check with each oth

A great activity to get kids out of their seats as they review multi-step equations that have fractional answers, or sometimes no solutions or infinitely many solutions!
Print and hang the ½ sheets, but NOT in the order that they are provided! Students can start at any of the posters and solve the equation. Their (hopefully correct) solution will lead them to the next poster, and so on, until they have arrived back where they started!
