You can use these cards in a variety of ways! Here are the two I have used in my classroom: -Give each student a card. Have them line in up in order from least to greatest! I let them decide how and where in the classroom to line up. I also let them carry with them a mini-whiteboard and marker so that if they need to, they can estimate square roots to figure out where they belong in line. A great activity to get kids out of their seats as they review multi-step equations that have fractional answers, or sometimes no solutions or infinitely many solutions! Print and hang the ½ sheets, but NOT in the order that they are provided! Students can start at any of the posters and solve the equation.
