You can use these cards in a variety of ways! Here are the two I have used in my classroom:
-Give each student a card. Have them line in up in order from least to greatest! I let them decide how and where in the classroom to line up. I also let them carry with them a mini-whiteboard and marker so that if they need to, they can estimate square roots to figure out where they belong in line. Students may help each other, but no calculators are allowed! I give them motivation to check with each oth
A few helpful organizers for teaching and practicing with the quadratic formula! One of them includes use of the discriminant.
Feedback is greatly appreciated! I am also open to doing custom work!
You can have students use these cards for…
•Memory/concentration
•Go Fish (pairs or triples, deciding which cards to use in advance)
•A quick matching assessment as a group or individual
Enjoy! Thank you for your purchase!
Hang these posters up (out of order) and have students up and moving in this self-checking activity! A student answer page is included. There are 12 total problems with subtraction of integers. There is an answer key included for those 12 problems. I also left a blank template if you wanted to add more problems, maybe including other rational numbers! Have fun!
