Food Truck PBA (ELA & Cross-Curricular)
In this high-interest PBA students will collaborate in groups to create a food truck based on the book Emmanuel's Dream by Laurie Ann Thompson. This is an ELA focused assignment focusing on SETTING, THEME, and CHARACTER TRAITS. However students will also have an opportunity to develop researching skills and important social emotional skills. Furthermore, there is an option to included to incorporate math through "meal tickets" (decimal computation). A Food Critic extension is also provided
