About the store
With over a decade of experience supporting struggling and neurodiverse learners in grades 3–7, I specialize in helping students who need more than traditional worksheets and one-size-fits-all curriculum. I have supported learners with: • ADHD & executive functioning challenges • Dyslexia & reading struggles • Autism & processing differences • Working memory, focus, and language-based learning needs Through teaching, intervention work, and parent collaboration, I’ve learned a simple truth: Struggling learners don’t lack ability — they need structure, clarity, and confidence-building tools that respect how their brain learns. My resources reflect that. They are: ✔ Rooted in brain-based learning and cognitive science ✔ Classroom-tested with real upper-elementary and middle-grade students ✔ Designed to reduce overwhelm and build independence ✔ Explicitly scaffolded for ages 9–13 — a group often overlooked in traditional supports ✔ Practical, ready-to-use, and created for busy educators and families I create tools that help students break tasks down, build momentum, celebrate small wins, and see themselves as capable learners — in literacy, writing, math, and executive skills. If you're looking for structured, motivating, research-aligned supports that help struggling learners feel safe, successful, and proud of their progress, you’re in the right place.

Teaching style

Teaching Style My teaching style is grounded in structure, clarity, and encouragement — because struggling learners thrive when learning feels manageable, safe, and motivating. I believe: Every student deserves tools that match how their brain learns — not pressure to fit a system that wasn’t designed for them. I teach using methods that support success for ages 9–13, especially students who struggle with reading, writing, math, attention, and executive skills. My approach blends: ✔ Explicit instruction & modeling — clear steps, visual cues, and guided practice ✔ Small, achievable learning goals — to prevent overwhelm and build confidence ✔ Gamified elements & choice — to boost motivation and reduce resistance ✔ Multisensory strategies — because movement, visuals, and hands-on tasks work ✔ Scaffolded independence — fading support as students gain confidence ✔ Positive, strengths-based language — no shame, no comparison, just progress My resources help students: • Break tasks into meaningful steps • Build automaticity and stamina in reading, writing, and math • Strengthen executive functioning and self-regulation skills • Develop pride in effort and growth — not perfection • Feel seen, supported, and capable every day Whether you're teaching in a classroom, intervention setting, or at home, you’ll find tools that make learning clear, doable, and confidence-building for students who need a different approach — not more pressure.

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Psychology and a Bachelor of Education with Special Education specialization. My background in psychology gives me a strong foundation in understanding the unique needs and challenges faced by struggling learners, while my education degree with a focus on special education has equipped me with the strategies and tools to support students with diverse learning needs. This combination helps me create resources that are both compassionate and effective, designed to boost confidence and encourage growth in every learner.

Additional biographical information

I am a certified educator with extensive experience supporting struggling and neurodiverse learners in upper elementary and early middle school settings. Over the years, I’ve worked in both traditional classrooms and intervention environments, partnering closely with families, support teams, and specialists to ensure students receive the right tools — not more pressure. My professional background includes: • Classroom teaching across grades 3–7 • Targeted reading, writing, and math intervention support • Executive functioning coaching focused on task initiation, organization, & working memory • Collaboration with school psychology, speech & language teams, and occupational therapists • Creating differentiated, visual, and multisensory learning supports I continue to study and apply research in: • Cognitive science and learning pathways • Executive functioning and motivation systems • Structured literacy and writing scaffolds • Neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed practices • Gamified learning and behavior-support systems that build independence My goal is to bridge the gap between research and real-world learning needs — providing tools that are practical, accessible, and built specifically for students who often feel overlooked in upper-grade resources.
