I have been described as a "warm demander" that sets high expectations for my students. I integrate a variety of strategies, such as cooperative, that engage my students in active learning.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My shining teacher moments that have filled me with pride are when my students finally reach that "aha" moment on difficult concepts! I been asked to instruct multiple times at professional development seminars.

My own education history

I am passionate about learning! I have an undergraduate degree in the sciences, but have continued to complete university/college courses to continue my learning! I have a Bachelor of Education and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Pedagogy, with a specialization in STEM and integrating technology into the classroom.
