Painting a Mural: A Math Class Project
This is a video explanation of how in three simple steps to incorporate a mural painting project into your middle school/high school math classes. The use of measuring, scale, proportion, ratio, and elements of geometry are involved in this hands-on creative project. Teaching math can be an adventure; it's a process of leading students to discover ways to quantify, calculate, measure, and understand. My method is to incorporate fun math projects into the middle school curriculum - projects that are based on adventure themes. They stimulate curiosity and keep the students engaged.
