About the store
I have a wide variety of education experience. I started my passion with education when I was eighteen. Since then, I have taught Pre-K for six years working with children from birth to six years old. After my time at a development center, I taught kindergarten, summer school, and I am currently an interventionist for all grades. I love the many roles I have working with students in literacy and math enrichment in the primary and intermediate grades. It gives me several opportunities to integrate and engage students from all ages.

Fraction Racing: Mixed Numbers and Improper Fractions
Students will race others down the track by adding and subtracting fractions. The student with the most wins at the end is the drag race champion. Includes answers!

Dinner Madness: Adding and Multiplying Decimals
In this activity, students will use a menu to determine the total of a bill and then add in sales tax or the tip from each customer. There are examples given on how to do both. Included is the activity page, answer key and the menu to use. This is a Microsoft version; if it does not work for your computer, email me and I will be able to send you a different version.

Community Garden Project
This is a classroom or grade level outlined project that integrates writing, collaborative learning, science, and math skills. Students are asked to design a plan to build a community garden for the school to use. This will allow them to be creative with measurements, volume, letter writing, community engagement, and design.

Adulting is a project about what life realistically would cost to students in the future. It is a way for students to gain a first hand look at how much money plays a part in their everyday life; especially when becoming an adult.
