Ensuring that we tick all the required boxes when selecting our literary works for the IB DP Language A Language and Literature course can be tricky. That's why I created this handy visual to hang up in my classroom, where I can write in the titles or paste on the book covers for the literary works we are studying, making sure that the students - and the teacher - can see how the puzzle all fits together.

Teaching style
I believe in student-centered learning and find satisfaction in a well-planned lesson, but I also enjoy those moments where a comment from a student or an outcome of an activity can take us "off-script", to spontaneous learning moments that inspire excitement and engagement.
My own education history
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and a Master;s of Science degree in Secondary Education for grades 7 through 12.
