Teaching style

The more interactive the better. I try to tie an experience to each lesson so students really connect with the concept. Games, games, games!

Additional biographical information

My father is my mentor. Growing up I watched him teach his fifth graders with interactive history units. I would help transform his classroom into a ship or a wagon train. Now I still hear about the students that come back to his class to tell him that they still remember those social studies units. That is my goal as a teacher. I want to connect an experience with a lesson.
