This Google Slides Drag and Drop is a great activity for 7th and 8th grade. The 7th grade TEKS (by the latest TEA update) would be 7.6A,B and the eighth grade would be 8.6A. Students use drag and drops and some short answer to develop and prove skills involving elements on the periodic table. Starting with locating elements on the periodic table using their atomic number, then building models of different compounds, and finishing with writing formulas for models of compounds.
